Delete an account

Xocana · package com.xocana.app

The parent or guardian who owns a Xocana account can delete it at any time, from the phone or from the web. Deletion cannot be undone.

On a phone

1. Open Xocana and tap Grown-ups.
2. Answer the grown-ups-only question.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account, then Delete everything.

On the web

1. Sign in at xocana.com and open Grown-ups.
2. Choose Delete account, type the confirmation word and choose Delete everything.

If you can no longer sign in, write from the account's email address to support@xocana.com and we will delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

• The account's encryption key, which makes anything left in backups unreadable.
• Every picture and everything else the family made in Xocana.
• Settings, the terms record, device and notification records, and the sign-in itself.
• A subscription bought on the web is cancelled.

What stays with Apple or Google

A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play is billed by Apple or Google, and deleting the Xocana account does not cancel it. Cancel it first in App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their privacy policies.
